So...Irene...the big hurricane in nyc that wasn't
We had power outages, but some neighborhoods did have down trees and flooding….nothing that we don’t get in a really bad thunderstorm. Just happy things were not so bad and that my family is good! There has been flooding in NYC downtown so we still do not have subway or bus service yet- we will see what happens. Just chillin’ this sunday!

Irene Update in Brooklyn
So no buses or train and my family and I are doing well. The rain has started adn things are super dark outside. Starting to get scared now but we are ready. Will update again in the early morning!
